Justin Sun Shells Out More Than $4 Million for Lunch With ‘Oracle of Omaha’

Crypto entrepreneur and founder of TRON, Justin Sun bid $4.57 million at a charity auction to have lunch with Warren Buffet, the legendary investor. Interestingly, long time cryptocurrency disbeliever Warren Buffett will have supper with the crypto enthusiast, all in the name of charity.

It is to be noted that Sun launched a virtual currency, dubbed, TRX token in 2017. Furthermore, he founded Tron network. Notably, TRON network is an operating system based on the blockchain technology that underlies digital assets.

The Berkshire Hathaway CEO has time and again criticized cryptocurrencies and digital assets. He even remarked on bitcoin and called it “rat poison squared.” Buffett has time and again compared the digital asset to gold, mentioning that both assets are firmly conjectural and don’t create earnings and dividends like stocks do.

In an open letter to the digital asset and crypto community, the crypto enthusiast presented a bullish tone about winning over a BTC bear.

Sun noted that the legendary investor has admitted to overpaying for an investment in Kraft Heinz Co, and failed to comprehend the prospective of tech companies such as Amazon and Google.

It is to be noted that this is the twentieth year the legendary investor has offered himself up for a power lunch to raise money for a San Francisco-based charity, Glide. Glide provides meals, medical care, youth summer programs, housing assistance, and other services to the Bay Area’s underprivileged residents.

He mentioned in a press statement that a common characteristic with all the winners is that they have a high-quality time and believe like they’ve gotten their money’s worth.
